I'm nervous for Bam here, taking on a killer like SSR at such a young age above his best weight class. Would still prefer him to attempt to rule 112, but can't be mad at an awesome fight like this
Bam vs Rungvisai coming up!

Looking like Martinez-Arroyo II and Akhmadaliev-Rios also on the card. If this also has Estrada-Franco then this card is bad ass.
Yeah, I'm worried for Bam too. It's hard to really judge where Sor is in his career.Comment

I don't disagree about taking an easier 3rd fight. However, Gonzalez won't be around forever and if Rodriguez is offered Choco, he should jump at it just like he did with Cuadras. Then all Bam would need is Estrada. A 6-year pro with those 4 names on his resume is insanity! I don't think I'm exagerrating when I say that Bam finds himself in a special scenario: he's a young titlist in a division where the well-established names fight each other. Choco is Bam's version of Pac or Floyd. Not from a money stand-point obviously, but Bam's credibility increases instantly if he looks good.
I think he needs to stay away from Chocolatito for a while. I'd actually like to see Roman fight Ioka and Estrada and get out of the game. If Bam beats Rungvisai I'd like to see him drop down and fight Martinez. If he does get a 3rd fight in this year he deserves to fight some cream puff.
Bam seems to currently be associated with Matchroom, wonder what Hearn is planning. Does he try and take it easy, or does he throw Bam in the fire? Hearn has shown willingness to take both routes with his stable.Last edited by kiaba360; 04-19-2022, 09:04 AM.Comment

- - Teensy men tend to have teensy populations of fighters unlike the higher divisions. Most men ain't attracted to divisions they could've fought in @9-13 yrs old.big and very DANGEROUS Step Up for Bam, not so sure about that one however if he pulls it off that would be huge for him but damn Sor is Big and Powerful
yeah sadly it seems like nobody cares about the Division under 135 which sucks because often times that is where the best fights are. When I don't see Junto Nakatani, Stephen Fulton, JF Estrada on some P4P Rankings it just exposes how even So Called "Hardcore Boxing Fans" don't even care about the Smaller Divisions
Agreed, a great fight is a great fight, and so they have their fare share.Comment

Shot? Sor is far from shot chief,he's still a very strong, hard hitting SFly that would be tough for anyone still, let alone an undersized Jesse. Shot is what we saw in Gamboa and Vargas this past weekend.
If I were jesse and his team, the only risk worthwhile to me is if he was able to get Choco. Not sure Sor is worth the risk this early in Jesse's career. Choco sure,Sor? Yea idk about that....Comment

Same here man, I wanted him to drop back to 112 and pick up a title there.
Can’t complain too much as this is a really interesting matchup but I do think SSR has a lot more left than Cuadras had.Comment
