I'll give Floyd props for speaking his mind. He's the most talented boxer on the planet today. He's got more money in his shirt pocket than I do in my bank account. But green don't imply class.

I remember a remark by Manny in which he said Floyd couldn't measure up to Ray Robinson as a champ because the latter was always aiming to take you out while Floyd was content with coasting towards decision wins.

I think the Uncle Tom **** was a bit of pay back. Whatever it was, it lacked class.

I'm reading a lot of people comparing floyd to other greats in other sports. There is no comparison when it comes to another sport. All other sports don't get in ring and put thmeselves in harms way. So let's compare boxers and nonheavyweights.



Roy Jones Jr was highly athletic in his prime and did things I never seen in the ring and din't get the love and the fame that he should have.

Pernell Whitaker also was another fighter who didn't get the fame he deserved for all the marvelous things he accomplished.

only SRL got the fame and true recognition on a global scale that was black and a non heavyweight.

Of course he is right. But I don't understand why he called Steward an Uncle Tom. He could have just said he was a horrible commentator. Maybe he was just going off Steward's commentatating of the DLH fight when he was yelling for DLH like he was winning when reality he was just swinging like a biatch.
