yeah, you’re just making excuses for him because it makes way more sense to take more money per fight and then fight whoever you want after and still get more than the overall dazn deal. After all, wasn’t that his logic when he declined a 3 fight deal from pbc in November of 2020? He didn’t want to be locked in. But now it makes sense to be a 3 fight deal? Ok. As far as Benavidez lack of discipline, kind of hypocritical because canelo also failed a vada test before and also missed weight for a fight but instead had the contracted weight changed one day before the fight. I also assume it’s a coincidence that canelo never asked for a wbc title shot at 168 when Benavidez was champ but 3 days after he was stripped he petitioned for it. As far as bringing belts to the table, bivol brings 1, 40 yr old ggg brings none as the fight will be at 168 and the rumored opponent for December which is Ryder brings no titles as well.
