I just asked you to cite the things you were accusing me of saying. Seems fair to me. All I said was 1) GGG didn't look bad to me vs Murata - punch stats and outcome give my feelings some credibility.

    2) And I said I don't see how the fight with Canelo is a formality for Canelo, and we all knew that GGG would be vulnerable early vs Canelo. Canelo could damage him early and win easily/KO him later probably, but if GGG makes it through the early rounds undented, the later rounds should still favor him.

You went ballistic and accused me of being every dirty name in the book lol.

So then Canelo gets full credit for beating a top P4P fighter. Sweet.

Hold on their camel , as Samdy Sam would say
You being this big fan of GGG , saw the fight vs Murata and thought he did well ,
I did not see that at all
You said he out landed Murata every round , and if that is a fact , he still lost fughin rounds
Just that should really tell you that your scoring is not as accurate as you really think it is
I’m on record here saying you guys want this guy to leave his fughin soul in the ring
I just watched the champions league game and not in the mood to explain through and through

All this reminds me when Canelo was going to fight Kovi
You can check , someone did a few weeks ago , the same night it was announced I was screaming as loud as I can that Canelo would knock him out in 5/6 rounds
I got attacked by nuthuggers telling me that I was a hater cause I was downplaying Kovi when in fact he was and is finished ( I was saying that way before the Canelo fight )
Then surprise surprise the odds came out , which favoured who Canelo
Have you met a broke bookie ? When you do , I’d like to meet him
I Told you , I believe GGG won the first fight and had it happened when it was supposed to happen , it would of been an even more convincing win
The second fight , yes I said he got schooled , meaning everything GGG did was countered
He had no surprise for Canelo but ginger did adapt and successfully
This third instalment is totally useless and will subject someone to take punches he never should have
Canelo will hurt him badly , not proud to say this , but that will be the case
Watch him dig to the body from round 1
GGG will be pissing blood long after we stop talking about him

By the way , Floyd carried Conor so he could cash out a winning slip
It came out , that May had put a bet on himself
And Canelo clearly was worried that Kovi would hurt him , once he tasted his power the fight was over
That fight should of been over way before that had Canelo not feared
I don’t think he fears , given this GGG , of hurting him

BoxRec algorithm goes bonkers at times, but it can see a fraud when it happens (GGG/Ginger 1.0) ... GGG is most definitaly up there in the top 5 ...

Wow…I didn’t realize how effed up their point system is. Sad stuff IMO. Nothing worth arguing over. Maybe they haven’t been updated in 5 years or so. Damn I swear I’m embarrassed for them!

Kov-Canelo was hard to call at first, because the fact of Kov having a very short camp, right after a war with Yarde, wasn't really known. Also there is the business of the possible rehydration clause in there. Not to mention that to me, up until the KO, Kov was probably ahead on points for me (and many others) but I never really bothered scoring it since it wasn't that important to me.

If GGG wants the fight, he should take it. If he doesn't, he shouldn't. It's his call. GGG looked vulnerable at times vs Derevy. He did not look that way vs Murata to me. Perhaps the home crowd swayed things for you, and for the announcers, who imo were overvaluing the work Murata was doing while not exactly calling the work GGG was doing.

In high volume/output fights, that can happen. If the underdog lands 20 shots on the favorite, it is more memorable than if he only lands 10. Even if he is outlanded by 50% in each round.

As I said, I watch fights with no sound. It gives me a good feel for what is really going on in the ring. I've watched a thousand fights. I think I know pretty well how a guy looks in the ring and whether he is worried or whether he is more in control.

GGG had periods against Derevy where he looked concerned and knew he was in a fight. From my view anyway. Against Murata, he looked in complete control and I think people who are saying he was really in trouble early, are offbase.

You could argue for Murata winning rounds 2 or 3. If you wanted to give him both of them, that's fine I guess. He wasn't really in any other round as far as winning the round.

He probably won 1 round out of 9, at home. Just thought overall it was a very professional performance from GGG. This was not at all GGG-Derevychenko part 2. The finish I think proves my point there as well as far as how competitive the fight even was before that.

GGG has always been a bit of a slow starter, like a lot of good boxers. He is feeling out his opponent. Starting too slow vs Canelo could prove damaging for him. However, Canelo will likely hate the pace of the fight in the 2nd half of the fight, should he not be able to hurt GGG in the first 4 or so rounds. That's my prediction.
