I honestly misjudged Fundora as a bit of a freak show, he’s a lot more effective than I thought, he’s a problem for anybody at 154 IMO.

I’d like to see Fundora vs Harrison next as I’m assuming Tszyu is next in line for the Castano-Charlo 2 winner.
That would be great but honestly, Harrison won't hold up either. He's a very good boxer but just look at the Hurd fight and it's going to go down just like that, but probably even worse with Harrison being older now.

Seems like you have to be a massive puncher and not just a good puncher to slow Fundora's output. He's essentially like a taller version of peak Hurd when he was beating guys like Lara and Harrison.

One mistake Lubin did make was abandoning his jab and he was able to have success and then was able to go down to the body. It only lasted a few rounds and then he was in an all out war after the KD in the 2nd round.

Lubin hit Fundora with his best shots and could not get it done. He's not going to be able to beat Fundora period.
He never went to his body. I like Fundora and picked Lubin to win, but Lubin never went to his body. There is no way a man that much taller than you should outfight you on the inside. Taller guys want to be on the outside and Fundora fought like Lubin should have been. lol. I was shocked.

No, that is not true. He went to the body, but as the fight continued, he kept going less and less to the body. In the early going, he was popping his jab out and then coming back with a body shot. All throughout camp all we heard from Lubin and his team was that they have to chop down the tree. Well, that's definitely not what they did and should have committed more to the body attack. The first few rounds, Lubin landed some great body shots and some were getting to Fundora where he took a slight step back. Fundora's chin is great but the body is the only chance you have and you have to attack it for 12 rounds.

I’d favour Fundora too but Harrison is a better mover than Lubin and is a bigger guy too I think. Haven’t checked but I’m pretty sure Harrison is over 6 foot tall.

I mean he's not going to be able to hold Fundora off of him though...Couldn't do it vs Hurd when he had better legs. Lubin is also a bigger puncher than Harrison. But Harrison is definitely taller and a sweet boxer so he will have his moments...Just think he ends up getting stopped as well.

Yeah I’d be picking Fundora mid-to-late if it happened myself.

Lubin never listened to his corner with the advice of stepping to the side. He just kept on eating uppercuts and did not move his head from the center. He can win if he does some adjustments.

Lubin also suffered a broken face syndrome and needs to get operated on his shoulder
I wonder how much that comes into play
Imo , had he more time when he knocked Fundora down , I think he would of gotten the stoppage
And to answer the op’s question , yes I think he can come back and beat Fundora
Just need some to stick to the game plan , I know it’s easier said than done when your in the ring
He would have to work that body at least the first half of the fight
