It was a quaint little venue, but it was off the charts during the fights. They also comped a lot of us that had floor seats free rooms that are usually 800-900$. Casino is clean af too! But it still isn’t LV. I’ve got a rainy day stash to buy a few tix for Spence vs Crawford, if it comes to fruition.
I know there are a lot of Thurman haters but Keith has been a friend of mine for years, he’s a good guy; yes the injuries were real, and he helps with tickets when he can too. He got me my Lara tickets in Fl year before last.
Don’t forget to like the post!
Yeah I always find most fighters away from boxing are actually good dudes, for example I can’t stand Tony Bellew within boxing but outside of boxing he’s a really down to earth fella.

I’m also planning to get to Spence-Crawford if I can. We’ll go for a beer or something if we both make it out there.

In my personal opinion, Vegas blows the UK fight atmosphere out the water. Us Brits are very passionate but you don’t really get that same feel you get when you go to Vegas for a big fight where the entire week is electric. The atmosphere is great on the night though, especially if it’s a local guy fighting in his home city, Hatton in Manchester is the most obvious example, some of those nights were f***ing crazy.

I’d love to go to MSG for a fight, that’s the one place I haven’t been. Definitely the next one on the list for me. Been saying it for years but still haven’t got round to doing it.
My greatest experience , meaning fight week and fight night , without doubt ; Arturo Gatti in Atlantic City
That was Gatti’s home away from home
Just electrifying and unbelievable how the whole town counted on a Gatti fight
The boardwalk and clubs would rocking the whole week of the fight
Not to mention how many fighters would be in town to witness the show
Incredible how local patrons counted on a fight from the awesome Arturo Gatti

I look forward to seeing you there if you go! Aren’t you overseas? Would be good to meet up, have a beer, and shoot the ****!
BTW, I agree about Bellew. I kinda feel that way about Sergio Mora, just hate Mannix and feel like he drags Mora down

Brother, we are next door neighbors on the leaderboard. I’ll make sure I stay on top with points. Maybe we settle that beef in LV!

Yeah I’m UK based, but I’m always partial to a Vegas trip for a big fight. Next time I’m planning a Vegas trip I’ll shout you a message mate and we’ll plan something.
