Some interesting fights they put together. Benavidez vs Lemieux is gonna be a back alley slugfest. Tank Davis vs Pouty Face . Just remembered...isn't Tank and Romero in the same Mayweather camp, or were they?

I think Lubin should of stuck to the game plan. He was the better boxer. Instead he tried to prove he could knockout Fundora.
Such a shame because i wanted him to win.

Lubin is rated #1 and Fundora is rated #2. The Charlo-Castano winner is likely vacating and moving up to middleweight, so Lubin and Fundora were allowed to fight for the interim world championship.

#3 is Tszyu, who is WBO mandatory and likely to be removed from the WBC ratings soon.

Garcia is #4 and Harrison is #5. The winner of that fight was likely to become the top rated contender once the Lubin-Fundora winner was upgraded from interim world champion to full world champion, so Garcia and Harrison were allowed to fight for the silver championship.

This right here. Even tho I like him as a person and as a fighter, I keep expecting Fundora to get KO'd or exposed and he keeps winning. At some point I just have to tip my cap and accept that he's pretty damn good.

I still can't wrap my brain around how he's able to be so effective on the inside. I can't recall a fighter who throws the volume of uppercuts that he does.

Just don't think Fudora has any chance vs Charlo. Fundora should be using his reach but doesn't. If he thought Lubin hit him hard, wait until he deals with Charlo. These pressure fighters like Fundora, Paul Williams, Figueora, etc can beat most until they deal with the top fighters and get beaten. Could be a tough lesson for Fundora when/if he gets a chance at Charlo.

Scorecards were fine. I had lubin up by a round after 9.

i don't know that charlo hits much harder than lubin. Charlo fundora is a total pickem. I think fundora beats castano. Not enough power to keep fundora off. Hopefully the castano charlo winner doesn't vacate and we get to see it.

Jermell isn't a very busy fighter though...he does a lot of waiting until he gets the KO opportunity, often giving away the first half of fights.

Fundora is gonna be in his face with 3-4 pieces all night. If Jermell can't knock him out, I can't see him winning that fight. Jermell is gonna get a lot of trouble from the very busy opponent in the rematch coming up. Too many rounds of inactivity.

Speaking of Tony Harrison, Luis Arias is one of the best trash talk/ baiters in the sport . Followed closely by Dillian Whyte .
