That's the hilarious part about defensive Canelo fans trying to tear GGG down. If GGG was overrated, why did he give Canelo two brutal wars? He won both of those fights, but even if you're delusional and think Canelo won them, they were still his hardest fights besides the Mayweather schooling. By a lot. So what does that say about Canelo?

Any reasonable boxing fan should be able to look at both of their resumes and easily understand that they're both first ballot HOF guys and among the top 5 active resumes (sharing the honor with Nonito Donaire, Chocolatito, and the fading Donnie Nietes).

Saunders' resume is as good as Lil G. And, his top wins are legit unlike Lil G.

Congratulations Lil G for beating another bum who has attributes above.
It was a hell of a performance for a 40 yr old that looks to me to be way past his best, the guy is elite and was right there neck and neck with Canelo, whom I think stops him this time if that fight goes ahead, that takes nothing away from GGG he still a great fighter and at the very tail of his career, his fights with Canelo are modern-day classics I don't get the hate for either of them.

The truth of the matter is that GGG has been on the downslide since the Danny Jacobs fight. The fact that he's still as good as he is just a testament to what a monster he was in his prime, and the reason guys like Geale and Canelo dropped belts to duck him.

True, he is such a powerful fighter Id love a time machine and watch him fight Hagler that would be war, even now when pretty much done he broke down a top Japanese fighter in Japan, they are sooooo tough anywhere but at home, you got to hit them with a sledgehammer to make a dint, whats not to like about Genaddy, big heart big power and always brings it, he would be tough to beat for any MW in history.

The fact that a 40 year old man beat a young prime fighter isn’t easy to pull off. I will admit, I think G could of whipped him at 50.
That said, he does have power. He just can’t get the speed,
/ velocity on his punches as much anymore. He’s always been able to run over most opposition quite easily. I’d love to see him forget the Canelo fight and instead fight Charla and Andrade. He could whip both of them still. It would be fun to see the “oh ****” on both their faces. LOL. It won’t happen cause neither guy wants a 40 year old GGG. Maybe at 50???
