Haney was a free agent, and went and signed contracts with the promoter and network needed to make that fight. This is a different situation. Garcia is not a free agent, and as of now Davis is PBC, so this fight won't happen. For this fight to happen. Garcia needs to leave GBP and sign with PBC. Or Davis needs to leave PBC and sign with another promoter, preferably a Dazn aligned promoter, to maximize chances of making this fight. Neither of those scenarios are realistic, so this remains a fantasy fight. And in any case, if leaving PBC was to secure big fights, there are bigger legacy fights out there, than fighting Garcia. These are the interim kings. It's B league champion status. Their both talented guys. When are they gonna show real ambition?

Maxi Hughes fights on Dazn for Hearn and Ryan fighting on Dazn for Oscar makes it logical considering Hearn is already talking about it.
