    Quick summary

Frank overbid 7million and spent the undercard money and blames everyone but himself, his business is very in the red year on year,
Frank's son (admitted) makes a load of promises to get Whyte to sign a non standard (still can't work out how Frank got away with this) contract, Frank starts "penny pinching" everywhere and ****s Whyte off more saying promises aren't legally binding (true). The nonstandard purse contract went to WBC arbitration (as it appears to be against WBC rules(sic)) who probably laughed in Whytes face p*ssing him off further, as basically they hate him.

Frank starts using the phrase "well it's not illegal" a lot.

Whyte "spits his dummy out" and does the same thing back pointing out legal holes in the wording around promotion.

    Opinion:

The promoter is supposed to be the "adult in the room" and take the flack from the fighters, so if Whyte is a Diva sort it out don't pour petrol on a bonfire, instead of offering 6 tickets and Furry 1000's why not make a gesture given all the other ill will, that's not normal for a fight. Yes you can **** him over legally but was that really good business?

Direct quote from Frank "he won't do promotion what do I pay boxers for" ... ok Frank .. you pay them to get punched in the face in front of 94K people .. its actually you that is paid to promote ... anything else you want to know about promoting Frank .. just ask.

Either the fine print is illegible and Whyte isnt fulfilling his contractual duties or Warren missed a spot or 2 with his pen stroke and Whyte has it figured out. Either way is irrelevant to me. I can see how this helps the promotion instead of hurt it.

Can definitely see him withholding Whyte's purse post fight.

Dillian Shyte is making 32 times what he got paid for his last fight?

What an ingrate. He should be blowing Frank Warren.

Whyte doesn’t even deserve this fight, so I’m on warrens side here. If you got knocked out cold two fights ago by an ancient povetkin, you should automatically have to work your way back up the rankings, regardless of how the rematch went.

Actually, he didnt. He had an arrangement already worked out with Fury, so he doesnt have to pay the full 80% of that bid amount to Fury.

As long as he shows up at the weigh-in and the fight, the fans don't care.

But yes, I would say it's not that professional to not help promote it a bit before fight week.

Especially if you're getting paid millions, which secures him and his family financially for the rest of their lives, if use it wisely.

It will happen, barring some unforeseen injury or illness. Whyte intends to go through with the fight. He's just playing the same game with Warren as Warren played with him - giving him the bare minimum required by the contract and nothing more.

That's nonsense. The WBC based the 80/20 split on the money each fighter earned in his previous fight. That was £20million for Fury and £4million for Whyte.

It’s a fight that we all know the result to before it even happens. Nobody wants to see this shiaat. Boxing always giving the fans exactly want they don’t want.
