I look forward to a good boxing match much more than any MMM fight. In fact, I can't even remember an mma fight off the top of my head that I was excited about.

Last night however reminded me why mma is better.

    1. No bs politics. The best ducking the best at their best.

    2. Way less BS judging. The Esparza/Fjioka scorecard was pure BS. The Shane Moseley Jr scorecard wasn't much better.

MMA is jack of all trades ,master of none.

      Boxing is a science.

Ive been following boxing for over 20 years now. First got into it randomly channel surfing on HBO

Back then MMA was pretty hard to find on TV. Boxing was actually the bigger sport. ODLH was famous, Tyson was still in his twilight, casuals still thought he was good boxing fans knew he was shot, Tyson-Lennox hadnt happened yet.

One of the first fights I saw was Morales-MAB I, on HBO normal TV, not PPV. Prince Naseem was around back then too. So I was hooked and basically watching every HBO fight and the times we had showtime watching every fight on there.

MMA aka cage fights were more of a circus act back then or atleast their branding made it seem like it. And it wasnt really promoted well. I watch it now days but boxing is still my favorite sport but I am into MMA more and more and the nice thing is there are a ton of MMA fights I never seen so I can go on youtube and rewatch old classics from 90s - 2015 and basically have no idea who wins or what the outcome was. I do remember peopel going nuts over Fedor on some boxing boards when he was active. I watched a bunch of his fights and basically knew he was going to win.

Mcgreggor says he wants to come back and fight usman for the title at 170, he would just get wrecked but I think a fight with masvidol would be huge. they are both past it and both strikers, masvidol probably wins, naturally bigger and more active, but lets see it anyway

The points you make are attributed to UFC, the organization, not actual MMA. But I agree with your points. UFC is no where near as corrupt and political as boxing.

The UFC annoyingly puts like 90% of **** behind a paywall on their own service though, including a bunch of stuff from other orgs that they got the rights to. Its much easier to find old boxing fights on YT in decent quality.

I did notice this channel pop up recently though, lots of old events in full although most arent UFC. I havent seen those Dream and Sengoku shows available anywhere pretty much since the time they aired.

Mcgregor beats Masvidal. Masvidal isn’t very good. He’s just hyped from the Ben Arksen KO and his 20 year old backyard street fights that are on YouTube. He’s the equivalent of a gatekeeper in boxing.

I'm not sure who wins at this point tbh. Jorge is a journeyman but hes been competing at a high level way longer than Conor and has never been a big powerful guy for his weight class like Conor was at 145, so having more losses is to be expected. Plus Conor is a total shell of himself now, and it would be a stand up fight, and Jorges hands and chin are pretty good.
