Haney-Kambosos: Who wins?

Kambosos seriously studied Tape on Teo. He also got a Teo who didn’t take him seriously. Teo also WAS NOT taking care of his weight AND his father game the WORST ADVICE.
All that said I think Kambosos could win a split decision. I know Haney is taking Kambosos seriously. I just don’t think Haney has enough experience but he could shock us all.Last edited by MONGOOSE66; 04-04-2022, 01:45 PM.Comment

I’m thinking Haney edges a decision. Wouldn’t surprise me if he gets jobbed on the cards though out in Australia.Comment

I will go with Kambosos Junior. Haney seems to be a fighter who weight drains himself extensively to be the big man. He is getting away with these tactics at this stage of his career, but sooner or later they could back fire.
Kombosos Junior when you really analyze things, beat Lopez Junior mainly because he was stronger at the weight.
I can just envision Kombsosos, being too fit for Haney. too sharp, getting his punches off inside first round after round 'Racking up points'.
I am not expert on Haney's career, but from what I have seen of him? He just seems like a big guy at the weight, who is strong. I don't think his skills are super elite, just solid enough.
So therefore he will have to make his strength and power evident. If he cannot do this, then he may have a difficult time winning the fight.
This division is not really a division I focus on that much historically. But of late, I seemed to be picking up on the rivalries.
Note: I have not voted not the poll.

It is amazing how people look at the same facts and go in complete different directions. You are picking Kambosos partly because he is home. I am picking against him for that reason. He will be the favored champion, swamped by friendly press, and will be a defending champ for the first time. I see this as distractions that help Haney. I cannot count how many fighters return home for a big fight for the first time and then look less than their best. They often attribute the distractions of being home as a reason.
Like Haney in the underdog role giving one of the best efforts of his career and kambosos to underperform. Truth be told, I think Kambosos was being way undersold in his past fights and now may be valued to high.Comment

Haney has no pressure on him, well less pressure than Kambosos Junior by far.

Notice the way people like to **** on about underdogs? It is easier sometimes to be the underdog.
Less pressure, nobody really cares or believes what you say accept yourself.
When Anthony Joshua fought Wladimir Kiltschko as the favorite, at home, in-front of 80'000 spectators.
People for some strange reason, seem to think Tyson Fury as the underdog was facing a more daunting task 'I don't'.
Although, I know it is debatable.
I think Haney is the underdog here, and he is fighting away. It also depends what type of fighter he is? I tend to think fighters that yearn for crowd support, is not a good trait.
If the crowd supports you great, if they don't who cares. Chris Eubank Junior strikes me as that type of fighter.
There will always be people who respect that, and become real fans.
