I remember watching that fight and it was an awful decision. Marku put the guy down and when it went to the cards I thought that Marku deserved and was going to win a comfortable decision. When they announced it was a draw I was very surprised. Rare situation where the house fighter got jobbed.

Khan vs Marku is a interesting fight, and maybe a more winnable fight at this stage of his career.

No idea why you are complaining, over what a fighter who has been there and done that 'Wants to do at the end of his career'.

If the fight happens, people will be interested. They know what it is all about, no need to get all upset over it.

Marku is a boxer mate, do you know more boxing than him? What is this uppity elitist attitude appearing in boxing these days?

I am the only one who has noticed this?

Boxing is a working class sport, born out of the streets, prize fighting. It is not Golf, it is not Tennis, so people need to drop the uppity elitist attitude.
The point that you clearly miss is, it's not just about retiring on a win it's about continuing in a dangerous sport that Khan looks dangerously more vulnerable in . In Khans prime Marku with his very limited boxing experience would never have been considered as an opponent and now it's sad that we see a once decent fighter, world champion and Olympic silver medallist being moved into a fight which he has every chance of winning due to his inexperienced opponents lack of dealing with a boxer as proved to a point on Saturday night but then not in to retiring but into another fight with the guy who knocked him from pillar to post only a couple of weeks ago in another really damaging fight in this brave lads career. Marku is a boxer mate but at this stage of his career not a very good one and should Khan miss the swings he will then find himself in the ring again with the guy who will take even more 'cells' out of his head with his well times punches again. We know this is the plan! It seems that some people need saving from themselves ........... you should know.
