Thurman was pretty good at his best, no comparison to the Thurman that came back after multiple surgeries, long rehabilitation etc.

None of the WWs have a resume close to the last-gen of WWs Floyd Manny Cotto Mosley's era, their good fighters I just think a step behind that last generation.

I guess you can say beating Brook coming off a GGG ko is in his top 2. Either 2 of his best 3.

Before the surgeries Keith beat Jan Zaveck, Julio Diaz, Robert Guerrero, Luis Collazo, Shawn Porter, and Danny Garcia. Not to mention even after the surgeries his only loss was on a first round flash knockdown against Pacquiao.

Spence has wins over Chris Algieri, Kell Brook, Lamont Peterson, Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Danny Garcia.

What else do you want? Who else were they supposed to beat besides Pac, Ugas, or Crawford?

Of all the welterweights to pick on you picked the two active guys who have accomplished the most at 147. Danny G did most of his damage at 140, Crawford did most of his damage at 135 and 140, Pacquiao is retired, Porter is retired, Ugas has only had 3 fights against world title guys, Brook got stopped by both Spence and Crawford.

Same as all the top WWS, their resumes are pretty much the same, just in a different order, they have all beat good solid fighters just nobody has established names on their resume because there is no great established WWs lol, its like contenders going around in circles and nobody going to that next level but its all within reach if they go for it.

This is a good solid fight with lots of intangibles Errol cant be no 70% here, so its a big step he has taken with his lead up, if Errol were to win and go for Crawford next or went to Charlo etc then he is carving out a pretty solid resume

It seems like you are trying to run Errol down, but what current WW resume are you referencing to suggest Errol hasn't beat anyone?

He was coming back from a career ending car accident when he beat Danny Garcia and Porter has always been a tough test for any top welterweight.
Brook is also a great win he was coming off ko loss from Ggg, but he still had some fight in him around that time and was the Champion for a reason.

Gatekeeper Shawn Porter is his best win by far. He barely won by SD. I scored it draw.

Danny Garcia is his second best win who is another gatekeeper.

Gatekeeper Shawn Porter had a belt and up until fighting Spence, gatekeeper Garcia had never been convincingly beaten. Not by Thurman not by Garcia.

I’ll say it again, the village idiot around here is YOU!

This welterweight era is pretty weak. Imagine some of the second tier guys from previous eras, vernon forrest, ike quarte competed in todays welter division they would probably be the man.

Crawford is the biggest disappointment because he had all the talent in the world and now he is mid 30s and only fought bums and smaller men his whole career and wants to price himself out of a unification fight. He is like Andre Ward but worse. Ward was a boring spoiler, crawford puts on better fights but then wont fight anyone. Whats the last time he fought someone that mattered before porter, the unification fight with postol 5 years earlier.
