And most BOXING EXPERTS, not FANATICS, give Bivol zero chance of beating Canelo. But his fanatics are steady trying to build Bivol up as this serious challenge to Alvarez. His best win is over an average at best, Joe Smith Jr. Oh, I know, Bivol has power and can move. Whatever, he has average hand speed, very little professional experience, 19 fights. Yet, again, Canelo's Stans are claiming Bivol is in his prime. Really, after 19 fights, he's ready and on Canelo's level? Canelo is actually a good fighter, if not great, but his opponents as of late have been soft. Most of them, Euro bums.

Not sure why Canelo is even commenting on this. Other than Beterbiev, all other options are either equal or worse. It's like he got ****** in a debate with PR trolls that hang out in forums or social media.

I can't criticise Canelo for this fight, because Bivol is a difficult opponent.

Who's to say he's not better than Beterbiev, I don't know. Bivol is better than Plant, Smith and Saunders by a fair distance. This is a real fight folks.

LOL, who’s he supposed to fight? Beterbiev has 17 fights and is going for his best win to date vs that same Joe Smoth next. Bivol, Betterbiev, GGG, and Benevidez are the 4 toughest fights out there he could take and he’s got 2 of the 4 on deck, and then will likely move onto the other 2 next year.

Is Bivol Marvin Hagler? No, but he’s still a great fight to take. There’s not anyone at 160 to fight. He’s cleaned out 168, so who is left?

Your analysis is on the mark and on the level. Bivol is a serious opponent but interesting that Canelo acknowledges he is fighting the 2nd best at 175.
I would have Bivol beating Charlo and Andrade who Canelo is supposedly ducking. Benavidez vs Bivol is closer - I'd like to see that.

Bivol definitely a throw bank fighter.. he comes forward too much.

i just cant get excited for this one, styles dont really blend well, bivol couldnt sell a glass of water in a desert, and the event as a whole doesnt seem to have captured the fans attention at all.

I love this matchup. Canelo is the favorite, but Bivol gives him problems.

I think people just want to see Canelo lose now. If he beats both Bivol and Beterbiev, who’s left? I’m sure some other boogie man comes up, but Canelo isn’t losing anytime soon.
