see previous reply - he cleaned out all the belts. he didn’t clean out all the best fighters or fighter as realistically he beat everyone bar Benavidez and you can’t count Charlo until he actually fights someone at 168.

personally i think history will judge cleaned out according to belts. right now i agree he hasn’t beaten everyone he could beat at 168 or even necessarily the best fighter. however in terms of belts then yes clearly he has cleaned out 168. Not sure how I can be any more clear on that.

Oleksandr Usyk also had 15 losses in the amateurs. I guess he is no world beater either? Even though he was the undefeated undisputed champion at Cruiserweight and now the undefeated IBF, WBA, WBO champion at Heavyweight. But I guess he sucks because he had 15 losses as an amateur.

Bivol had 15 losses out of 283 fights. He sucks according to a probably out of shape ******* who couldn’t run a mile right now.

Interesting numbers however:

Bivol's style too ugly to get the W. He is a fake email champion that ducked Beterbiev like the plague to save his career. It's gonna be an easy night versus in-out-in-out A-B-C Eastern Euro basic style.

Bumvol can't hurt Clenroid.
Bumvol can't outhussle Clenroid.
Bumvol can't out-dog Clenroid.
Bumvol can only outrun Clenroid, however it will probably be a small ring and green 19-fight Bumvol will be too starstruck to even get out of the starting block.

I think being such a long term boxing fan gives you precisely that perspective. It’s why when fighters talk about legacy they almost universally say it’s about getting belts and it doesn’t matter who has them. It’s exactly what Canelo means with his ‘what do they have to offer me’ quote. History primarily remembers the belt holders.

Cleaning out a division and cleaning out the belts should be more or less the same thing by virtue that they best fighters should be the ones holding the belts. Benavidez was responsible for losing his, nobody else. I should mention that Benavidez is one of my absolute favourite fighters and should he ever get to fight Canelo I do think he’ll beat him. However clearly Canelo hasn’t deliberately ducked him, he’s just collecting belts first. ****** move if you ask me as Canelo will get older and more shop worn whereas Benavidez will just get better. Canelo like Mayweather should have elected to fight the young gun sooner rather than later and i reckon that’ll come back to haunt him.

I love when people get called out they try to play victim. This board ****s on every prominent black fighter and anything Al Haymon. You can act like a victim but it's true. What have you seen in Bivol that makes him a definite win against Charlo? He's basic as hell. He has no special effects to him if you want to say he hits hard because of his division fine but Charlo's win over Derv is better than Bivol's win over Smith Jr

Yes, it's a fact canelo failed drug tests. Charlo went AWOL for one and Benevidez was stripped for failing.

Canelo has fought the best fighters of his era. Nothing else he can do but just wait until after he retires to get his roses from fans and critics who will realize how hard it is to get the best to fight best. If they have not noticed already.

There is no one else Canelo can fight who would supposedly get him respect and admiration from those who don’t like him right now.

He can add Joe Smith Jr, David Benavidez, and Artur Beterbiev to that list after Bivol and it would not matter. They will just say he needs to fight Breidis and Usyk next.
