Lubin is a good fighter and good guy but I Am Groot FunDora is goi g to knock him the fluuuuucccckkkk out it will be too many punches landed from accumulation and it will be Tko mark my words
Has me thinking of Sergio Martinez v Paul Williams I - not to compare all these guys skill for skill... two southpaws; one giant with high volume; one who was stopped early in his career but still showing good form and potentially starting to hit a stride. More was known about Williams at that point though, his chin was more tested against good comp than Fundora I'd say...but he ended up getting put down in the 1st round of that fight. There have been some scares along the comeback trail for Lubin so it's tough to think he won't get buckled at some point in this one too.
I don't think Lubins has the footwork of Sergio but I'd watch those fights if I was him. I can see both hitting the canvas as various points in the fight, early and late.
Personally I think the freakshow hype train stops here, but then again I didn't think he'd get past Gallimore. I also thought he would get outboxed by Garcia, and arguably did but we shall see next weekend.
I'm picking Fundora in this fight. I can see it going either way but I think Fundora will be too much for Lubin.
I like Lubin. Think he has tested himself and has gone about trying to rebuild himself after that Charlo loss the right way. But Fundora is a good fighter. I will stick with Lubin in this, but this is not a "lay money down in Vegas" kind of prediction from me.
love this fight, I like both fighters watched both of them go from prospects to now Top Contenders, I remember Lubin back when he was fighting on ESPN Friday Night Fights and was with Iron Mike Productions. Same with Fundora who basically Grew Up from a Prospect to now a Legit Contender on FOX and FOX Sports 1
Excellent Stylistic Matchup should be a great fight. Stacked Card overall even Jermonty Clark vs Aaron Coley is a solid fight
