I would put Lewis in the top 15 of all time if he came back and redeemed himself by fighting Byrd to take back the IBF Title, Ruiz For the WBA Title, and then Vitali for the WBC and unification.
I lost a lot of respect for him when he dumped the WBA and IBF titles. He still could have made the money fights w/Tyson and Grant between title defences.
In any order:
Muhammed Ali
Joe Louis
Jack Dempsey
Jack Johnson
Rocky Marciano
Joe Frazier
Max Baer
George Foreman
Larry Holmes
Sonny Liston
Jim Jeffries
Floyd Patterson
Ezzard Charles
Gene Tunney
*possible alternates include Primo Carnera, and Max Schmelling

No I dont. He beat a top 15 heavyweight in Larry Holmes, and that is about it. He never overcame adversity in the ring, and folded when the pressure got to him.
Not to mention I do not like him as a person. He is an insult to boxing IMO.
I also feel that if you had to list the top 5, I would say
Ali, Louis, Foreman, Marciano, Dempsey would be the order I would pick.
