I guess he should feel that way. To be honest, beat a few welters and no one cares. Everyone has an off night. Either rematch at 140 or leave it be. You won't change anyone's opinion of the fight so what's the point. The only opinion to change is what you can do at Welter. I used to think he'd hang at 147 now not so sure. Being Undisputed does say something and Prograis & Ramirez were good wins but you're only as good as your last fight and no way he beats any of the top welters with that last performance.

I'm really interested in who he'll fight next.

A slick fighter is Taylor's Kryptonite, sadly.

Unfortunately Josh has turned out to be just another delusional fighter, what a shame

If Taylor thinks he won, so be it. But he should give Catterall a rematch regardless if he wants to win back some respect from the boxing public and silence the doubters.

In recent memory, fighters like Canelo, Floyd, and Pac won close fights (draw in Canelo's case) that could have gone to their opponent. And while none of them admitted to losing, they still gave rematches.
Yes. This is an excellent point. The best rematches are ones where there is something to be cleared up.

Taylor really should give him the rematch.

I had Catterall winning by 3 rounds but don’t see the decision to give it to Taylor the decision as a big controversy, I’ve seen worse decisions, the Valdez vs Conceicao the most recent shocker. I think Taylor is also trying to protect his worth, he said he wants to retire in 2 years, so is looking at big fights until the end. If you go to the negotiating table admitting you lost your last fight the other team will use this against you, reducing his purse and possibly the promoter will use it as well.
