Charlo's in review

I got at least 20 years on you watching and my time collecting on tc and wbva I've amassed well over 10,000 fights, not to mention the fights I've seen that I don't have on film.
How many fights have you seen, how many amateur fights do you have? I'll never be a casual. I could stop now and 30 years later not be a casual. I'm a boxing aficionado for life.
The thing you don't understand and what makes you an amateur armchair viewer is you can't judge how good a fighter is by him fighting low level opposition. A lot of fighters look phenomenal out of the box fighting at the dog track. If you’re more of a casual now that’s cool, but don’t just dismiss Castano because you haven’t seen enough of him. The guys a good fighter. Very good amateur beat guys like Spence in the amateurs and he’s been faultless as a pro thus far. I think most people would agree he probably should have beat both Lara and Jermell. He definitely beat Jermell IMO.
Jason Litzau comes to mind. 125-10 in the amateurs not counting smokers, excellent up until 20 fights until he went against fighters that had a pulse. Look at how his career ended. Kirkland, same thing. Angulo, another one. Cintron, another. Merqui Sosa, another one. Edison Miranda, Allan Green, even Peter Manfredo Jr. (154-27 in the amateurs not counting smokers) looked great when he was fighting bums as an early pro. The list goes on and on lol.
Take your own advice Mr. Boxrec Revisionist, you didn't see the fight because it wasn't aired. Who knows what really happened. If you knew anything about the amateurs you know it's the most fixed sport on the planet. I actually followed Spence in the amateurs when nobody knew who he was, did you? Thought so. Byrd lost to Calzaghe in the amatuers too, doesn't mean he really lost. Fight was in the UK and Byrd was a beast in the amateurs. Byrd has like 300 wins and maybe 10 losses, they say Joe stopped him, get fuc.king real.
I don't follow Castano, Pat Ford, Pat Cowdell, or Josh Taylor and you got me as a casual? You're out of your fuc.king mind lmao.
How is getting two draws and 17 fights in 10 years faultless?
You're like some fringe wannabe fan who don't know shi.t about boxing up and down. Get off my dic.k you hungry troll before you hurt your yourself lmao.

Yeah Charlo has to load up and try and catch him IMO. I just can’t see him out working Castano or even out boxing him from the outside tbh. I think the uppercut could be the shot for Charlo though. I’m torn but leaning towards Castano by decision.Comment

Charlo is explosive enough to do it so it is certainly possible. He did have Castano hurt a few times but aside from those rounds, it was mainly Castano's fight.
Charlo will need to try to turn Castano in the middle of the ring instead of just going straight to the ropes. His jab was also a bit inconsistent and I know that ticked James off in the corner.
Hopefully the winner fights Tim Tszyu next.Comment

Yeah I ain’t reading all your mad ramblings.
You don’t follow an Undisputed Champion and current World Champion, sounds pretty casual to me.
Literally everybody in this thread has exposed your OP. You’re an uneducated troll tbh. This account of yours has lay dormant for like 9 years and suddenly you’re posting non-stop yet claim to not be following the sport closely anymore. Hmmm… something doesn’t add up.

Yeah he’s got to try and establish the jab. Castano is crafty though man, he’s very good at slipping under the jab and doing work inside, that made Charlo hesitant to throw the jab in the first fight IMO.

What do you reckon on Lubin vs Fundora next weekend? I’m hoping Lubin can pull it off. I think he should have too much in regard to technical ability but Fundora will probably test that chin at some point.Comment

That's the thing, Castano is able to get low and weaves in and out and isn't a sitting target. Dude is a DAMN good fighter man. No shame if Charlo can't beat him in May.

Ohhh man, that's going to be an interesting one. Lubin is a small 154 pounder but he is very skilled. He's going to get touched this fight and his chin will have to hold up and if it does, I see him chopping Fundora down. I got Lubin with a decision win or late stoppage. No way am I fully confident with that pick though lol.Comment

I'm high on Sebastian, I still think he's a video game character someone put all his points into height, but I do want Lubin to chin check or gut check Sebastian, he needs to know how to deal with being hurt. If the Sebastian from his last fight shows up Lubin will pick him apart. If the old Sebastian shows up then its a good fight.

Well, take a look who's in the division right? Charlo, Castano, Tszyu, Kurbanov, Lubin, Madrimov, Fundora. You're telling me this is a stacked or even remotely stacked division? I would say that 85% of people under Castano are literal nobodies. Prove me wrong. ****.king 8-0 Madrimov (who) is ranked 6th in the division? To these guys get a free toaster with a ranking?Castano is either 1st or 2nd best fighter in the division according to everybody. So if somebody ranked that highly is a 'nobody' to you, all the guys ranked below him must be nobodies, and it's impossible for Charlo to ever have a good resume because he has nobody to fight.
If a 35 year-old fighter is still performing well, that means there is a talent gap or they're not fighting the best.
"Old Lara" was/is still performing well and many had Castano winning that fight. But he also has wins over Soro/Teixeira. Again, if you think he's a no name fighter, then I don't know what to tell you. Is he a household name? Of course not, but boxing fans should know he is.
Yea, you ain't reading (we both know you did) because you have nothing to fight it with. That's what you do, you shut down just like you did in the Chavez thread. I systemically shut you down post by post and then you said you won. Can't want for that any second now. You're a fairweather armchair fan that doesn't know shi.t about boxing.

Undisputed in a dead division and getting gifts??
Everybody? Like 2 other guys omg lmao. They haven't exposed anything other than they don't really know what they're talking about.
The only thing that doesn't add up is why you're not taking the medicine you should be taking. Extreme wannabe with zero knowledge.
