Premier? Al Gayman has all his fighters hardly ever fighting just hold on to a belt and that's it. None of Gaymans fighters are legend or Elite he has them brainwashed to settle for little and make him rich. At Plant is opening his eyes and going after his dreams. I think Plant can be a elite legendary fighter.

Wish one of the Charlos would STEP UP and fight him. We all know they won’t do it though. Easy work for Caleb.

You completely ignored what my post was about. And I didn't mention the Charlos at all in my post but.. since you brought it up...... I do believe Plant beats both of them easily. Assuming the playing field is even and he's not for sale in those fights as well.

Plant had a belt at the right time. He wasn’t chosen because of the resume or name. Remove the belt and keep the same resume, and we wouldn’t even be discussing him. That being said, I hope he has a better run post-Canelo. Some decent fights to be made at 168

Ahhh!!! Your not to far gone! A little glimmer of light. Charlos are the oldest fighters out there that have NEVER challenged themselves.
No GGG, No Lara, No Canelo, No Jacobs. Hell, I’d settle for the last 4 scrubs Canelo just beat. We all know that’s not going to happen or even Lemieux or Brook would make me happier and their OLD.

What happens when he finally meets someone that can not only take his power but smile? Enter stage left Canelo. Footwork favor ls Canelo. Speed favors Canelo. Counter punching and defense favors Canelo and power is on par. I’ll say Canelo’s chin is better than Benevidez’s as well. There literally isn’t a single thing that Benevidez does that Canelo doesn’t already do better.

So, if Plant isn’t “great” as you say, what makes Benevidez “great” that rates him anywhere close to getting a Canelo fight? Lemeiux?

What makes him great (in this case) is that hes better than Plant, thats what. Idk how long youve been a (n obviously casual) fan of boxing, but there are no tag teams in pro boxing. It is not the WWE. Canelo will not be in the ring in a bout between Benavidez and Plant. There are only two contenders in the ring, and only one can win (barring a draw). I hope that clears it up for you. Anything else you confused or upset about?
