Wonder if mungia is considering a move 168. Idk maybe it's just Oscar maneuvering him carefully cause he doesn't think he's ready for janibek, Adames, Charlo, or Andrade. Either way, this guy has had a weird career. Then again the entire heavyweight division ducked hrgovic, so maybe thats just how this new generation is and I should stop expecting better.

To me it feels like Munguia needs this fight more than Danny. Munguia let two high profile fights slip out of his fingers, he can't afford to let a 3rd one slip. through.

I think Jacobs is all wrong for Munguia
I’ll just say this , if Jacobs can beat Munguia to the punch
It’s gonna be one long fughin night for the Mexican
All i hope is for Jacobs to be capable of hit and run
Munguia will be like a puppy chasing him all over cause he got no fughin clue how to cut the ring
Jacobs is no knockout artist but and hopefully he still has his power , that will keep Munguia truthful
Since you all think he’s done , I say Jacobs by close decision and if he’s got one big last one I need him by wide decision

          Oscar is a fu-cking idiot.

This is not an easy fight for Mungia.

If Mungia loses, Oscar is officially the most negligent promoter of all time.

Jacobs does not have the work rate to hang with Mungia .This could be a brutal beatdown for Danny.

See Charlo this should be the type of fight you should have taken instead of Sulecki

Munguia is fast revealing that he has little interest in testing himself against any fighter of worth or note, despite the fact Jacobs might still be a remote threat.

Canelo famously said when asked about fighting Charlo, Andrade, etc, 'Why don't they fight each other?'

How long have these guys been clutching onto their one-belt waiting for the Canelo lottery?

I can understand trying to foster longevity, but this is boxing - at the championship level you're expected to at least prove yourself every second fight against a legit contender - not fight tomato cans and faded names until you're nearly 40 and cash out.

Charlo is reminding me of Adonis Stevenson - a one-belt wonder with talent, but no balls to test himself or try for a unfication. 160 used to be the division now its a shadow of what it was.

It really feels like Jacobs has been throwing certain fights. Wouldn't be surprised to see Mungi get a win here which I would absolutely hate to see.

Is Munguia allergic to world titles or meaningful fights?
