  • Comments Thread For: Ryan Garcia On Critics: Drives Me To Work Hard, I Don't Want To Prove Those Guys Right

Ryan Garcia has long ago reached a point where he knows he can never please all the people all of the time. The unbeaten lightweight has endured his share of criticism during his rise through the ranks, which comes with the territory when your fame tends to exceed the in-ring achievements. Garcia has always enjoyed a strong social media presence but is never without his skeptics even as has developed into a top contender. The 23-year-old from Victorville, California doesn't expect that to change in the buildup to or even after his fight with Ghana's Emmanuel Tagoe, which tops an April 9 DAZN telecast from Alamodome in San Antonio.

I really dgaf about ryan. I'm a regular boxing fan. Maybe do something to make me care. Or not. Boxers could easily make me a fan, they just don't seem to try these days. This dude has been talking smack to lopez, Haney, tank, Kam, loma, for years. Gives up his "hard earned mandatory status", and wants us to be fans. Do something to make us want to root for u! Wtf

Ryan Garcia has got it twisted, you are already in the hole ; the L's you took in your public breakdown cant be erased or forgotten. You are a weak ass fck foo, and you keep cherry-picking. You fighting the 'Game-Boy' next, come on bro whos next on the list 'Pokemon'? Dam foo you make Victorville look lame homes.

You wanna prove people wrong, then get off the model nonsense on the gram and actually fight.

Call me a critic. He's a great fighter, but he's not a great boxer. That, hop in and catch them by surprise works, until its not a suprise.

Honest, off of their in ring persona. Tim has a pop gun compared to Ryan. Maybe when Tim gets his picture took, he might change his mind too.

Damn Corelone, I hope Tim does not turn into Cryan Garcia and duck the smoke with Charlo & Castano, just when he is a mandatory position. I would respect Tim more if he took an L than pull the stunts that Ryan has for the past 2 years now.
