This has to be Bob Arum's doing. And of course the WBO always goes along with what he wants.

Catterall is getting shafted for a second time with these rankings.

Yes , Catterall will be the recipient of a double whammy

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Bobfather had anything to do with it

Lopez would beat Ramirez and Catterall.

These sanctioning bodies are a rule unto themselves - the IBF are the best at adhering to their own rules but they usually have crappy lists of contenders leading to pointless non-competitive mandatories. Apart from Taylor. Prograis, Caterall and Ramirez, not to mention Zepeda are the best fighters at 140 at this moment.

Those 4 in a mini boxing tournament would be a fan friendly and meaningful way to sort out the rankings at 140.

            Zepeda vs Prograis
            Catterall vs Ramirez

maybe - but let him earn a fight with them - let him blow out a lower top-10 fighter at 140 and stamp his presence in the division

Can't wait to see Teo back in the mix. Hope he hasn't lost a step. It doesn't really have to be fair to other fighters because they will never have the same appeal that Lopez does and boxing is a business. What Lopez needs to do though is win fights and step up to fight people and not duck. He should repay boxing by being a brave champ. Assuming he manages to win another title and become a star.
