Actually I was thinking good for him for leaving Hearn, who couldn’t get him anything but email champ status. He now has the defining fight of his career, with a rematch clause, and then Loma, Teo and 140 and others which will be easy to put together if he doesn’t price himself out. Who was Hearn gonna serve up next, Maxie Hughes?

Haney cannot win using Floyd's style hit and make him miss. That's the reason why Floyd never fought outside his home turf. Haney got no Power to KO Kambosos,so

KO is out of the equation. Kambosos by UD.

No fan fiction, just the truth, he gave up a lot to make 1 fight for undisputed happen.
I understand what you’re saying, but if he didn’t make the fight then he would be criticized for ducking.

Haney had to sacrifice a lot to make it happen but I think it’s worth it.

Guys like Bud Crawford could afford to take notes. It’s not the best deal but Haney is betting on himself, which is better than pricing himself out when he’s already been avoided

He gets to fight the champ. He should be glad for it. Now he has a chance to prove people wrong who say he's too scared to fight, is pillow fisted, hugs like a hippie, or whatever.

If he wins, maybe they're haters. If he loses, maybe they're right, depending on how he loses.

Nobody is a victim who makes mills. Facts.
            Hasn't earned it?
The guy who was Loma's mandatory, pushed for the fight, did not get the fight, hasn't lost since then, still has not earned it? Can we at least agree that he has not lost his spot in the line?

Young Edward just taking loss after loss. Again this just proves that the entitled Essex school boy can’t do dyck for an American fighter and any American who fights for that outfit on that obscure app is a total fool of the highest order. Outstanding that this fight will be on ESPN where the American sports fan can see it on the premier sports channel in the USA.
just curious but what’s the schedule on the “American takeover”? Have I missed it? Are we still waiting for it? Wasn’t showtime supposed to be out of boxing? I’m just asking because a Pith hat wearing pompous southern fairy said so….so any information on this “American takeover” and “global domination” would be greatly appreciated….

3 fight deal. Kambosos, rematch then Loma. That's 18 months if he chooses to fight 2 times a year and they're good fights.

If the fight happens to be close and competitive, they might give it to kambosos, so haney better put on a dominating performance all 12 rounds or KO kambosos, or they are going to rob him. Australia is not exactly the best place when it comes to boxing scoring and judging. I do think haney is better than kambosos, but you have to factor in the location.

Bob Arum said that Devin Haney signed with the wrong promoter.

And sure enough Haney could never get the big fight until he agreed to let Arum own a piece of him.
