Short money, having to fight in his opponent's backyard even if he wins and is the undisputed champ, then he already has his second defense mapped out for him. No fan fiction, just the truth, he gave up a lot to make 1 fight for undisputed happen.
He gave up what he had to to make the fight. No more, no less.

I think Haney has to much skill for Kambosos......I can see a clear decision or even a late stoppage for him

Devin Haney takes a terrible deal to fight for respect and legacy. So when he beats Kambosos and Loma back to back he better get MAXIMUM respect and credit for this.

It would not surprise me if Haney becomes aggressive in this fight, so he takes it out of the judge's hands.

Haney gets the biggest fight available to him, gets it broadcast on national cable tv in the usa instead of a streaming service no one outside of boxing fans have, if he wins he gets a bigger payday with the rematch and if he wins that fight more than likely gets a big PPV fight against lomachenko. And if he loses the first fight he still gets a fight on ESPN to help him build himself back up. Your right, what a terrible deal. I can't believe he agreed to it. there is nothing in there that is good for him at all. just crazy.

If it’s a close fight and Haney wins he will skirt the rematch clause and drop the belts to move to 140. Around that time Taylor likely relinquishes his titles at 140 and Haney fights scrubs for vacant titles. Look for Teo, Tank and Haney to pick up some vacated titles at 140 and fight a bunch of opponents with inflated rankings by each of the sanctioning bodies.

Australia the last place a black man should want to fight because they will rob you blind over there! The men can't stand outsiders and all the women want to screw us! They can be a bit uncontrollable as well, so make sure you have security. I remember them stopping fighters against Americans prematurely especially if you faced Shannon Taylor or Troy Waters back in the day, their great white hype!

Let’s see if he makes it out the contract without being put on the shelf like Garcia, Waters, Ruiz etc
Wait, he's a victim? Because he gets to fight the champ, even though he hasn't earned it? No offense, but that seems like an upside down way to interpret it.

He gets to fight the champ. He should be glad for it. Now he has a chance to prove people wrong who say he's too scared to fight, is pillow fisted, hugs like a hippie, or whatever.

If he wins, maybe they're haters. If he loses, maybe they're right, depending on how he loses.

Nobody is a victim who makes mills. Facts.
