Soto vs Guzman was looking like it was gonna be a war after the first couple rounds, but Guzman didn't want any of that after those exchanges and just got on his bike. But that fight highlighted Soto's biggest problem, and that's his over commitment to his punches. Guzman didn't want to trade anymore, and Soto just went mad tryin to chase him the whole night.

Even in the Guadet fight , he was swinging for the fences but hitting nothing in the mid rounds. He creamed his pants cause he caught Guadet with a ****in bomb, after that he just went crazy and was hitting everything but Guadet's chin lol. He's way too undisciplined and it always plays against his success. If he would calm the **** down and set his shots up, he'd be far better off.

Guzman won almost every exchange. Guzman even yelled at Floyd Sr. saying, "I want to fight!" and Floyd Sr said box this kid. It wasn't so much about making it a war, Guzman had a really easy time outboxing Soto. Lets not kid ourselves, Soto had Guzman against the ropes and couldn't capitalize either. Guzman's defense is top notch.

I disagree, Soto was trying to pin Guzman against the ropes and cut chop him down. His shots were either getting blocked, missing, or just not having much affect.

Teddy Atlas says the worst thing that can happen is scoring a knockdown in the first round for that same reason. True story.

I thought those exchanges were dead even, Soto was getting closer and closer with his heavy shots, and Guzman's shots weren't strong enough. Then all that just came to an end once Guzman started moving. But yeah, Soto will hit your shoulders and arms more than your body or head. He's way too ****in desperate for a big punch.

He slipped no punches landed. I'd love to see him in with Valero.
