He's fighting tonight vs Deion Jumah a slippery southpaw who has gone largely under the radar. Jumah was a pretty good amateur and has basically won everything at every level he has competed at from amateur to pro but unlike Riakporhe he has never got the push, the credit or recognition.
He's undersized rather small at CW but too big for LHW but he is quite a savvy, skillful little fighter.
He won the ABAs back to back and I think he was part of the GB squad.
I think this is a good fight. You have Riakporhe a rather novicey, big, tall, strong puncher vs an underrated yet undersized, experienced southpaw who has experience.
I remember the great Manny Steward saying about Danny Garcia never impressing but always winning. Win, win, win and he was the same way in the amateurs. I think that could also be applied to Jumah.
Not sure which way I lean but its an intriguing fight.
Big novice puncher vs a crafty undersized technician who has basically just won his whole life yet never got any credit or recognition.
