You can’t please everybody. Truest saying ever. You really can’t. People move goal posts all the time.

Some fans say they just want a fighter who just fights the best, win or lose. Canelo has been fighting the best since he was 22 years old and all throughout the last 10 years. There isn’t a fighter that Canelo was supposed to fight and he didn’t. From Mayweather, Trout and Lara to GGG 2x, Jacobs, Cotto, Callum Smith, Saunders and now Bivol. This man was even accused of ducking Caleb Plant. This man was accused that he will not dare fight Kovalev at 175lbs. This man was accused that he will avoid Daniel Jacobs and Callum Smith. He can’t win.

There is only one fighter Canelo hasn’t fought that imo he should, and that’s Betebiev. Otherwise this guy has a who’s who resume. He’s a rockstar of boxing.

He is what some fans say they want. He fights everyone. But he is still not liked by some. Yes he has looked vulnerable at times vs the best fighters. But you asked for this. That is what happens when you consistently fight the best. Wins, losses, draws, close fights, debatable fights. It happens. SRL has close fights and losses. Mayweather. Ali. SRR. Chavez. Duran. Razor close wins, losses, draws, knock downs, KO’s. All of this stuff happens when you fight good fighters.

I expect a good close fight between Canelo and Bivol and I expect Canelo haters to mock him for it. Win or lose. But Canelo is fighting the best, that is all I want to see. The best fight best and Canelo does has done that for the last 10 years.

Nah, with respect, I’m not doing that, because, (a) those same standards are applied to deny the equal citizenry rights due non-white people in European countries, and (b) if we are going to start using ethnicity to define people’s nationalities instead of their legal status, then everyone should know that the gene pool is so diverse that it not only renders nationality a scam, but destroys the notion of using skin colour to define someone’s heritage.
