True boxing fans know, like him or not, Canelo is the man. His resume is the best out right now and it’s not even close. Only haters would argue that Canelo is ducking someone.

Hold on just a second. I give Canelo props all day long for fighting multiple times a year, clearing up at SMW, and fighting at LHW, but of those 4 names mentioned in this meme, he’s so far fought NONE of them.

Don’t get me wrong: I have him at p4p no.1, and don’t really think he needs to fight Benavidez or Charlo, even though one watch them.

But if you’re gonna meme it up, at least be goddamn accurate.

Most of those ‘European stiffs’ were holding belts at SMW (which he’s just cleared) and LHW apart from Plant… who, wait for it, is not European!

Yildrim and Fielding are bollocks though, I’ll give you that.

and other than Plant, Hearn is responsible for all of those opponents which is why he’s defending it. Meanwhile all of his dazn numbers have been trash because the dazn run of opposition has been mediocre at best.

In the literal sense he's correct. There's probably no boxer who'll 100% please everyone but he coulda minimized the criticism imo if he took care of business correctly in his career. The most blatant duck out of all those is Andrade. Nobody can tell me different. Notice how he is carefully omitted not only from this conversation but other notable ones. (Albeit he has been getting brought up more, recently but I won't get too deep on that.)

There's so much I can write on this dude's career but I'll just try to summarize some things. Logically had he took care of business chronologically I highly doubt we would be here. & yes the opportunities were there! This dude has BEEN able to fight whoever & whenever as soon as he's ready for almost a decade. He jumped to 175 when there was food on the table at 60 when no one asked him to, eventually left, then said people just wanted to see him lose when the prospect of fighting certain 75lbers was brought to him at that time.

He literally opened himself up to that criticism, now he's back there. This is a very strategic effort, & that is the main reason I don't like this dude because he & mainstream media act so oblivious to what he's doing & the stuff he gets away with.. For clarification at this particular time I'm not mad at his opponent selection I'm just mad at the reasons other fights weren't made WHEN they were SUPPOSED to be. & when has the time you decided to fight someone not mattered in boxing? Smh I digress on him.


As for Eddie Hearn, he is a straight clown. It's becoming disgusting at this point. This is the same dude that told us Canelo's legacy would forever be in question cause he popped dirty. He told us Canelo doesn't wanna seem to fight Andrade around the time he was SUPPOSED to be fighting him. But now acts as if Canelo "would & could never do no wrong" & he's so "above that it's not in his nature." GTFOH

I respect your opinion and all the arguments you present however I don't care what anybody says, Andrade doesn't beat Canelo. Bivol, Beterbiev, Benavidez and Charlo has a better shot of beating Canelo, and yes Alvarez has avoided some fights but he also has the best resume and is also fighting the guys nobody else wants to fight because everybody else is waiting for a payday, Canelo is doing what everyone else should be doing, fight everyone else, so yes he gets a pass from me because he is doing what boxing is about.

But hey it's just my opinion.

This is the problem, when Canelo moves tup to fight the #2 consensus LHW undefeated champion of the world someone will try to find a way to btich and cry, boxing fans are the worst, smh.
