    - - Danny got the perfect potty mouth daddy to rile up opponents to walk into Danny power, ie an overachieving gatekeeper in a multibelt era.

Otherwise, slow of hand and slower afoot, and can't box sorta like Boner, so that could be a fun cashout bout for both say at 150-54.

I think the best way to put it is .....
      He’s a True gatekeeper
Meaning to get by him you gotta be a true fighter , someone with potential
He carry’s a bit of everything , he can box , has power and somewhat good ring iq
So to get by him would be legit in my books

You are correct. After pulling off that win against Lucas,he was the man at 140lbs,no ifs or ands about it. At 147 where he didn't have that size advantage anymore and his opponents learned how to avoid that GARSH,he pretty much became ordinary and his limitations, slow feet, low workrate etc, came to the forefront. Being the bigger fighter will get you far....until it doesn't.Hes definitely a gatekeeper at 147 and if he does plan on going to 154,can't see that ending that well for him honestly.

At 34, 3 losses and with more than 15 years of professional boxing experience under his belt; The answer is yes. He is a gatekeeper now. It's safe to say that his title winning and contention days are suddenly a thing of the past.

Yes, and a very inactive one at that. I think he is hoping either Spence or Crawford vacate the titles and move to 154 so he can fight for a vacant belt. Problem is he would have to fight one or the other for that title or face down Thurman, Ortiz or Ennis. He should try to make a fight with Mikey Garcia. Would make for a good rivalry and entertaining fight. They can each get a good payday out of it too.

He should give 154 a go. Shake things up a little bit.
