18 months ago it was okay for Boots Ennis.....true but we got to hold you to a different standard because, well, because America, because in America honest standards don't matter only division matters.
It wasn't a great fight for Ennis either. It was acceptable because Van Heerden had faced a handful of decent opponenets with good results. But in his last fight with Ennis the result was terrible and Chris seem to quit.
Heerden had a little win streak when he fought Boots, he was getting pummeled until the headbutt. Boots has had a hard time getting fights but nobody is avoiding Benn. His team name dropped a lot of fighters and this selection is very disappointing. If Benn wins it does not move his needle up.
Since they are justifying this fight so much if he wins they should go after Boots.

Did Boots have options to be bigger fights at the time?
That was the best fight Ennis could’ve gotten? People buy this sht?
Thank god we have brave men like Van Heerden and Lipinets. Because everyone else is deathly afraid.
What’s that guy that went straight from jail to the press conference? Abreu? Truely a brave man to show up out of shape to fight a godslayer like Jaron Ennis. The dudes in the top 10 that that are feeling themselves don’t even have this much confidence while in shape.
