Went to see the fight live and it was a great fight atmosphere but all 3 showcase fights ended up as duds. I give Zayas the benefit of the doubt, he’s a young buck and future world champ once he grows into the division.

Berlanga is just a one trick pony and was just trying to land that right hand in which he had terrible technique throwing it. The fans let him have it with the lackluster performance and all this talk about a big fight in June needs to be canceled at the moment because no way is Berlanga ready for a Daniel Jacobs or Gabe rosado unless Top Rank wants to see him against top competition.

Not much to add. Berlanga's KO streak probably stagnated his development as a fighter and created a difficult mental hurdle to overcome.

Rolls isn't a bad fighter but he's at his ceiling (good regional fighter, fringe contender) and was coming up in weight. I didn't like the corner for Berlanga, too chaotic and too many voices speaking over each other. Top Rank will have to slow things down for Edgar if they plan on keeping him in their stable, they've released guys for less.

Not impressed looks like the ko streak was smoke and mirrors agaisnt handpicked tomato can fighters and did nothing for his improvement. He's now graduated fighting C class fighters and he's looked terrible no more ko's looks very slow, limited boxing skills and gets hit way too much. Rocked and dropped by guys who are not big punchers at 168. He's going to get knocked out by the first legit puncher he faces.

I was asking for a showdown against David Morell jr. I don't see any point in doing it now. Morell Jr should be looking to fight benavidez, jacobs or someone on that level. I don't mention ryder because he already moved(ryder) from that fight.
