Jaron ''Boots'' Ennis vs Blair ''The Flair'' Cobbs

Not to look past Rocha he's a good fighter but If Blair wins this weekend would you be okay with this fight assuming neither can get any of the big names too fight them?
    Two undefeated prospects.

I like both guys and was like no, Blairs barking up the wrong tree and he might be BUT as we seen with Taylor vs Catterall for instance, styles make fights.

Blairs a showman, he is playing a character BUT he claims he knows he is all wrong for Ennis, claims he bettered him in sparring. He makes a lot of valid points when he says we've seen him hurt and come back, we haven't with Ennis and says he is totally untested which he is.

I know this is from the amateurs and Blair isn't Gary Antuanne Russell but from a style perspective could this actually be a problematic fight for Boots?

Tell me you don't see an uncanny resemblance between the two

I believe he beat Boots three times in the amateurs and was the only fighter to beat him.

I can't unsee how similar their styles are and I don't understand why Boots & Bozy Ennis are so dismissive of the fight it makes me wonder.

Sure they were young and it was just the amateurs and both have improved since but I believe there is a possibility Gary Antuanne Russell might just have that style/have Boots number tbh
Blair fights so much like GAR

Maybe Blair isn't as crazy as people think.

A part of me doesn't want to see them fight especially yet but another part of feels this could be more intriguing than it first appears and maybe not so crazy after all.

If Boots takes care of business in May he will be the IBF madatory and looking to enforce his position for a title shot so I don't see this fight happening. The Golden Boy fighter everyone would most like Boots to get in there with is Ortiz, but if it somehow did happen I see it as a fight similar to Tank vs Rollie, I'm not mad about it cause I don't mind seeing the b-sides get beatdown and I can only Boots winning by a brutal, life shortening beating. Cobb has nothing for Boots, just a lot of talk. I don't think Cobb is nearly as good as Russell and I don't think Russell who beat Boots 2/3 in the amateurs would stand a chance against Ennis now.
