This fight is trash, a waste of time and I won’t bother watching. But….. don’t be fooled. Some of the same people in here trashing it are the same ones who defended murota as an opponent for their favorite fighter and their justification was that it was a unification and also the amount of money that Murota brings in Japan. Some peoples opinions flip based on who is the one selecting the opponent.

Murata would **** out the the likes of Andrade, Munguia and Charlo - this is not up for debate. He has a high boxing IQ and works well to the body especially with the left hook. With regards to his losses, the N'dam fight was a straight up robbery which eventually led to the suspension of two judges and the Brant loss was basically an off night because he comprehensively battered him inside 2 rounds of the rematch.
Murata was a World Championship silver medallist and an Olympic gold medallist while as a pro he has never been knocked down. I'm expecting a very competitive fight - even more so due to both having long absences from the ring. I think it will essentially come down to who can establish the jab to dictate distance and the flow of action.Hnnnggg likes this.

Not sure what happens in this fight but a long layoff for a 40 year old fighter could very well turn him old over night. I wanna put money on Murata but it's hard to decide if GGG is cut from the same cloth as basically every other fighter at 40Elastic Recoilz likes this.

Competitive fights usually happen when there is a mutual respect for each others skillsets and accomplishments - I've no doubt both will pick their moments to attack and when to be on the defensive carefully.eco1 likes this.
