I like this fight and it should happen and here's why, we know Dirrell don't deserve another big payday and he can't beat any champion at 168 nor make it a full distance either, but since Plant only has one loss and it's to the considered pound for pound best currently so why not allow him to retire a faded Dirrell who really got handled by Kyrone Davis so let's not forget that gift! I would look forward to this, but this is only worthy of airing at best on ESPN, FOX, Showtime at best.

If it really does lead to a Plant-Benavidez fight this fall - and it’s not a PPV fight - I’m OK with Plant-Dirrell. But Plant shouldn’t underestimate how much credibility he lost by essentially waving the white flag after 8 rounds with Canelo after doing as much pre-fight talking as he did.
