It was close. The last round really sealed it for farias. Ryan is gonna be a very good boxer this fight was a bit too early for her. Ryan won 3/4 rounds then the point deduction it shouldn’t have been any scores for Ryan but the right girl won so no harm I guess

Ryan MAYBE won the 6th. No more. It wasn't close and the fact that it came down to a split decision is shameful.

The rounds were competitive in general but the fight was not close.... similar to the Chocolatito fight last weekend. Ryan was tough, but she was way too easy to hit and struggled to land clean on Farias. She punched a lot of gloves, arms and shoulders.... Meanwhile Farias was touching her jaw every time she threw. Ryan was always wide open for the left hook, right hand, uppercut. Nonexistent defense. She's got to keep her hands up if she's going to walk right in.

She tried to take the fast track to a world ranking and a title shot, and instead got handed her first loss. That's what happens when you try to take shortcuts in boxing. Ask Lomachenko.
