I still think they can come to a deal. GBP wanting DAZN involved here does not make much sense.
I think with Munguia the end game has always been Canelo or GGG. Oscar isn’t going to sell that zero to anyone else. It’s a shame it’s reportedly fell apart cause both fighters wanted it and it made sense for both. I hate it when promoters pull this sh**.

The fighters had agreed terms tbf. It’s the people behind them blocking this fight. Typical promotional and network BS standing in the way of a good fight from being made.

That makes little to no sense. GGG has 1-2 fights left he’s 40. Mungia is not getting that fight. And what makes Oscar think Canelo would accept that fight with him being Mungia promoter? GBP just doesn’t want to work with PBC it’s just that simple. If Mungia really wanted it the fight would happen imo

But GGG is not going to happen since he's fighting Canelo in September....So he's just gunning to face Canelo in late 2023 or 2024? I don't know man...According to Copp, PBC told GBP they could have the Mexican TV rights and DAZN can air the fight in the UK and other countries but they still turned it down. Funny thing is that GBP does not even have a deal with DAZN at the moment lol.

I hate the Benavidez Lemieux fight.

Surely there’s a better fight to be made

You mean the mandated fight from the WBC to determine the mandatory???? Sickening that Lemieux is even top 2 in ANY sanctioning body lol.

Word. Didn’t realised this was a mandatory. I’m sure David doesn’t want this fight either.

The ghost of David Lemieux will still be only the second world titlist Benavidez has faced. His resume is paper thin.

I phrased it poorly....This fight determines the mandatory challenger for Canelo's WBC belt.

STRONG Schedule! The hold up is Munguia, if he doesn't accept then Charlo vs Lara Or Adames which I would be OK with for now but Charlo really should move up IF no Munguia

I still would take Charlo vs Jacobs at 168 at Barclays
