      Hes too tight.

If he can sort his stamina out, which is probably unlikely at this stage... he could be a real test for anyone in the tournament.
Fail, he is not technically sound. He appears to be, but he has fatal flaws that keep popping up all the time and he hasn't fixed since he was a pro.

Very true. Being tight for a whole fight tires you out. I have a similar problem, but he also has some other major flaws, and I like him a lot as a person. He trained down here for a long time at a gym my boy trains at. He does the following:

          1) Leaves his punches out too long, especially the jab. This has been his biggest flaw since he turned pro and he still hasn't rectified it.
          2) Pulls his head straight back. Especially when he begins to tire. It makes him such an easy target for guys who fight in a straight like like Pavlik. he boxed well in the second fight, but he couldn't outpoint a 1-2er.

I don't care what changes he makes in setting or who he talks to or whatever. Those have to be fixed and I don't think he can fix them if he hasn't yet. People down here were talking about seeing them in his camp before the Froch fight. It's just too long to have the same problems.

Taylor has a really good chance of beating AA,here's why,AA starts of very slowly, which means Jt is building an early lead!!AA is easy to hit,I know his hands are high, but he backs straight up when u hit him with offence!!JT can punch, that means if AA gets caught with good solid shots for all of 8 rounds,he may not have enough left to mount a comeback!!I think this fight will be closer than most people seem to think!!

Jermanin should have kept his first trainer. But if Abraham does not start fast, which he usually doesn't, he will lose. Letting Jermain hang around and not make him work like others have will be a big mistake. Because then, stamina won't be a problem and Taylor can pick up the pace during the second half of the fight. Taylor has stamina issues, slight mental issue, and wasted movement, but the boy has power. He dropped Froch and Pavlik, guys with solid chins. I don't doubt he'll drop Abraham. Abraham's defense against the elite is yet to be seen.

Thanks DStew. JT was one of my favorite fighters before the Steward era began. He has been in decline since then. I even thought he lost to Spinks and Wright.

lol at ppl questioning abrahams defense, after ward he has the best defense in the tourney ffs.

abraham is way to mentally strong for jermain, as much as i like taylor abraham will knock him out. with these changes i would give him a good chance against anyone in the tourney except arthur, unlucky for jermain i guess. and after he gets KOd again he will be completely mentally shot. hope im wrong though.

maybe, maybe not. abraham has yet to prove himself against the elite..hes not much more experienced than ward and dirrell, he just has more fights..there isnt much of a difference in the competition they have faced when you really look at it. and in abraham's last fight with oral he was getting caught here and there when he would open up to punch, but the thing is oral is a nobody who hasnt faced one good opponent..i dont understand why everyone is jumping on this abraham bandwagon, the guy has yet to prove himself. his best wins are over miranda, who is a one dimensional, sloppy slugger. im taking taylor by STOPPAGE. yep you heard it here first. i think abraham will be exposed.
