crawford is good but wasted his prime fighting bums. so his full potential is kind of unknown. Someone like DLH fought basically everyone out there so we got a good idea of where he was as a fighter.
Is Crawford in the same class as Mayweather, Leonard, Duran or more in the Class of Oscar, Mosley...

I mean, Dud did dominate Horn and Porter, so.......Comment

I've been watching Crawford for years now and I am always on the fence with him. There are days when I feel as though he is overrated but then there a days I feel he is greater than many fighters we have seen. Would you say, Crawford, as a boxer, is in the same class as Manny, Floyd, Leonard, and Duran? Or is he just another Oscar, Mosley, Pernelle, Tito, Vernon....etcComment

Crawford is a very skilled fighter but are we really comparing the opposition he faced to the Hall of Famers?
-Yuriorkis Gamboa who just moved up from featherweight? (He fought only once at 130 after they linked him with a drug enhancement scandal)
-Jeff Horn whose biggest wins is a robbery against a 38 year old Pacquiao in his hometown.
-Dulorme who never fought anyone of note and once he did, he lost all his major fights.
-An already abused Amir Khan passed around like a sex doll.
-A actually shot to the knee Jose Benavidez Jr who willingly still fought in two months preparation after the incident.
-A shot Kell Brook who moved down a weight division after being broken down longer after by GGG(KO5) and Errol Spence (KO11).
-A shot Shawn Porter who lost all his biggest fights.
His actual biggest win I would argue is Kavaliauskas considering he was the only one in top condition, with no previous losses and single good win.
Even then I think someone like Ike Quartey could KO Kava with mid-difficulty.Last edited by Malvado; 09-16-2022, 11:27 PM.Comment

Crawford is going to analyze him early on, make adjustments, and proceed to pick Spence to pieces. Spence thrives on the inside, what happens when he can't get inside and eats shots every time he tries to get in? Bud by clear decision, but I think if Spence gets sloppy late, Bud could easily stop him.Comment

More accomplished. Maybe he would beat him 'Probably'. But Porter is not levels above Mayorga.
Stylistically Porter vs Mayorga would be a good fight, and it is a winnable fight for Porter 'Winnable fight for both fighters'.
Porter had a great career, was a solid fighter. But he was not a elite level fighter.
Stylistically Porter would be beat down from start to finish by Oscar De La Hoya.
