Valero was powerful and fast he threw punches and bunches like Pacquiao the difference is Pacquiao struggles with boxers with punching power marques morales and Barrera all gave him problems I think Valero would have gave Pacquiao wars n possibly knock him out to at lightweight would have been fireworks at least to me

Valero would of been KO'd easier than I think people imagine. They seemed similar but Valero was just raw and lacking a lot in technicality. He was also dropped by Mosquera who wasn't anywhere near as big a puncher as Pacquiao at the lighter weights. Pacquiao's chin was also proven at the lighter weights as he took bomb shots from Barrera, Morales and Marquez and never went down.

I like to imagine this crazy fight where both are throwing insane amount of punches and absorbing them but the reality is, I don't think Valero could take as good as he gave. Pacquiao could.

I remember being in the talks this fight, and was listed in a magazine as well.

Pacquiao at that time he was a monster, but so was Valero, he was a No F***s Given fighter with huge amount of power.

Agree with many of your points here, but hey apparently Manny struggles with boxers they say, especially Barrera as the OP suggested, i remember Manny having a real hard time in that fight in particular, don't you??
