It's good to read that Hector Camacho's murder's have finally been arrested, and charged with his murder.
He was a great champion in his day, with real good boxing skill's, and in his younger years with real power.
May he rest in peace, and be remembered for his brilliance in the ring, not for his trouble's out of the ring.

It's good to hear these thugs will be off the streets and where they belong! RIP Macho man.

There were not that young, mostly in their mid twenties and more. I don't think that they would have been discovered through DNA, not from a shot. Possibly from ballistics tracing another crime. .And , as already remarked, there are always criminals who know and maybe are having their own police problems, so buy themselves out by disclosing the evidence.

A wonderful boxer. I first heard about him when home on a visit to my family in Dublin. Read in the newspaper about this Jr. Lightweight Camacho knocking everyone out , with dazzling speed, seemingly unbeatable. And in my opinion, he also became a master boxer, who could win with perfect judgement as to how much effort he needed. He had a great defence , which allowed him considerable longevity. Unmarked and never KO'd I can't recall that he was ever KDd.....maybe once , I think, by Oscar. He was one of two boxers whom I could recognise in the ring, without seeing his face, purely from his footwork and movement. The other was Emanuel Augustus..

And by coincidence both shot, and either died or was near death.

Those cases are hard to crack. Someone was offered a deal somewhere. Glad that they were able to piece it together and arrest everyone that was involved.

"They gave me justice," Camacho's mother, María Matía, told the AP. "I can sleep in peace. I can eat and drink a little cup of coffee in the morning."

Someone had to have said something somewhere and possibly struck a deal with a prosecutor. I don’t think it was DNA because these guys sound like career criminals. The DNA of the men responsible would’ve been in CODIS and would’ve been able to match up pretty easily, especially these days.

All they needed were names. After that, you just follow up on that lead. Just go back in time and piece together where they were on that specific day and time. Would make a great Dateline episode I bet.

Camacho was a thug himself. When you live that lifestyle, sometimes the train runs off the tracks.
