Jermell Charlo is none too pleased with how the proceedings of his upcoming rematch with Brian Castano has thus far played out. The 154-pound full unification clash pitting Charlo's WBA, WBC, and IBF titles against Castano's WBO belt, was supposed to take place March 19 at ******.com Arena in Los Angeles, but Castano ended up suffering a right biceps injury, forcing him to withdraw. The fight, as BoxingScene.com previously reported, has been rescheduled for May 14 on Showtime, although the venue has not yet been determined. Their first bout, which took place last July at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, ended in a somewhat controversial split decision draw.

The last two fighters to complain about gloves were Mayweather and Wilder and they were criticized for years. We’ve barely heard anything about the above situation.

So Charlo who has a record for ducking drug testing day is pointing the finger at Castano ..ok. He literally justified skipping a random drug test because he had promotional duties and saw nothing wrong in this .. it sounds like he wants drug testing but only on specific dates indicated by him.

It was odd that both Charlos avoided testing and ignored phone calls on drug test day but I cant definitively say they would have failed. I will say if Charlo ever pops after speaking out on this it will end his career.

So apparent he knows a bit too much of cycling PEDs as he also mentions in his interview. If Castano is using PED he should not get a pass either.
