"The World Boxing Council complicated the lightweight division when they created a "franchise" champion. The championship was first presented to Lomachenko. While that title was initially ruled as a non-transferable status, Lopez was able to capture the franchise belt from Lomachenko. And then Kambosos secured the belt from Lopez."

Kambosos is not the "Undisputed" Lightweight Champion! Hopefully he fights Haney, and resolves all this nonsense! MAN UP!

Get it done so we can get undisputed in 135. This circus has been going on since Loma got that WBC carnival belt. At this point, there appears to be a faction in the boxing community that doesn't want to see Haney get the legit undisputed title.

Fight cant happen anyway - Haney is still wrapped face-first around the crotch of Linares! Only the jaws-of-life will free Linares from Man-hugging Haney!

I think they might need to start shifting the focus on that because I don't think Kambosos wants to fight him at all. I think Kambosos looks to take a soft touch in Australia then Ryan Garcia whom DAZN is much hire on instead of Haney

Keep a eye on Jacob Ng vs Billy Dib next week, he probably fight the winner for his Homecoming Fight as Champion then if Loma is available by that time either he does that fight or Ryan Garcia fight. I think the Haney stuff is all Smoke but I HOPE I'm wrong
I agree! I don't think Kambosos wants any smoke, and will wait for Ryan to beat Tagoe! Haney vs. Ramirez would be GREAT, but only if Taylor vacates the WBC title!

This is what’s wrong with boxing today. When PAC was KO’d by Marquez in 2012, all his fans said he “deserved” a soft touch after that KO. Sure, but Brandon Rios? PAC was good enough to fight a legit top 10 WW rather than the walking punching bag he fought in Rios.
So, Kamboso just beat the best 135 guy, why take a tune up when you just had the biggest win of your career? Kamboso, in my opinion beats Haney and Ryan Garcia so there’s really no need for a soft fight.

Im just saying Kambosos got jerked around for about a year lost money on training camps. Had the date pushed back several times. I think he deserves a defense in Australia. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a soft touch. Anyone in the top 8. I don’t really believe in soft fights. History has shown us that a great fighter can be beaten on any given night. I shouldn’t even have to go down the list of top fighters losing to fighters who were labeled soft touches.

^This does make sense though, so I agree.

                    Don't be that guy.

Boxing has enough problems without people like you trying to validate some random made up title.

I don't give a **** what a belt is called. GK is the guy who beat the guy which makes him the legitimate (and undisputed) champion. Strange that you still don't get that.
