Fair enough in regards to the judges, I actually agree with no british officials. However, Frank is being ridiculous with his comments here.

If I remember correctly Mr Warren was more than happy to hush up the Sheeraz-Skeete scandal. I don’t remember frank being so forthcoming and critical of british officials at that time, people need to go read up the definition of Consistency.

Judging is awful everywhere. The US, UK and everywhere else has an abundance of poor judges.

Neutral judges are not the solution. GOOD judges are.

Time for a system to make judges more accountable.

They are when it’s in regards to available british refs and judges at this time. None of them are competent. We have to go elsewhere.

In England people already feel a north/South Divide. Using neutral officials in this occasion is beneficial to BOTH Fighters and goes a long ways of eradicating bias.

I See No reason to complain about this decision anyhow.

Hearn lives rent free in Warrens head . They can’t actually petition for no U.K judges because it’s not up to the promotional companies it’s up to the board of control. I guess Warren left that out as Hearn explained and in any mega fight on home soil when has there ever been not a ref and or judges not from that country ?

I agree with the comment that we need better judges. One way you guarantee judging will get worse though -- just as with refs in football -- is to constantly vilify them. They way things are going now, who would want to commit to becoming a boxing judge?

Does anyone have any actual suggestions for how to get better judging? Would more judges help? Say 5 instead of 3?

You wouldn't have some random neutral ref in the Champions League final would you? You'd have the best neutral ref.
Just bringing in someone from the US, or France etc makes no difference. They are probably still useless and incompetent. Like I said, US fights have just as many bad decisions, there's probably only a handful of judges that are actually consistently good/respected.

We can get 3 of the very best NEUTRAL Judges that are around. Not that difficult to understand, is it?

If we’re talking 3 best judges in boxing right now, none are british. so that’s problem solved. I love how so called expert promoters believed this wouldn’t happen, a day later it happens. Times are hard for young Edward.

I think an Independant body dedicated to ref and officiating Quality needs to be created. It starts at the ground up.

Boxing is one sport riddled with corruption from grassroots to world level. The standard of judges and refs needs to be far, far higher.
