Bivol, whether he's a mainstream star or not, is perhaps the toughest fight he could take, including Beterbiev, so how anybody could seriously criticize Canelo at this point is beyond my ability to understand.
In the grand scheme of things, Canelo beat one SM “champ” who turtled up on the ropes for 12 rounds, beat another SM “champ” who couldn’t punch and was ****** enough to bend down at waist level and lean his unprotected face into an uppercut (and then quit on his stool after shaming others who bowed out of fights) and beat a third SM “champ” who couldn’t punch and was so mentally weak he spent one of the fight’s late rounds literally asking Canelo if Canelo thought he was a good fighter.

Wow, some accomplishment! Only the boxing media sycophants (who have to keep feeding the “Canelo is a global icon” narrative for their own self-preservation) and the Canelo fan boys are buying this con.

Those 3 men need to fight each other. They all are scared of one another. 2 of those men are PAST their prime and NEVER fought tuff yet. They need to retire.

I completely agree with Canelo. Blame everyone else from 160-175 for not fighting each other. Even the guys he did fight are to blame as well. All these guys do is feed on the same top level contenders instead of fighting each other. So many of them are literally wasting their prime not fighting.

Cant get over the teenage girl jealousy men now exhibit. Ward is far too big for Canelo and is past his prime now so it’s a mute point. Sergio Martinez?? Your kidding right. U must be his brother or something CANELO would of killed him. To be fair. Sergio was too old for Canelo 7 years ago.

If all this is true. Why isn’t any other 160-168 fighter fighting ANY of Canelo’s left overs?? They should be EASY pickings. These fkn prima donnas of TODAYS generation think they should only have to beat “average fighters” then they DESERVE a big pay day. It dont work that way girls.

Suddenly really starting to become a Canelo fan. He's looking for a rival mean while everyone sees Canelo as a pay check. I totally agree with Canelo. Charlo should fight Andrade, Benavides or GGG.....

                      100% !!

the haters meanwhile whine like thirteen year old girls.
Why can’t these guys fight each other? They are most likely scared of losing their undefeated moniker which would result in a no-Canelo fight.

All of them are calling out Canelo BUT no one is calling out the other. Ridiculous!!

Benavidez could have derailed the Bivol fight by going after Bivol himself but what does he do? He loses his title on the scale two times and now fights a no make hopeful while chasing after Canelo.
