How is he alive if a pressure cooker exploded in his face? Pressure cookers was what the Boston Marathon bombers used for their explosives.

Um that they are using explosives. But a number of things could happen, maybe some of the pressure was released and it wasnt at full pressure when it hit him in the face. Maybe he tried to open it but all the pressure wasnt fully out.

Yeah I never had one. Just did a google image search for pressure cooker explosion. Well there's plenty enough pics of damaged kitchens and injuries to suggest its not uncommon for them to be defective. def not going to buy one after looking through those.

I've been wanting to get a pressure cooker myself but the potential danger scares me off.
