UK robbery watch: Miguel Vazquez fighting in the UK next weekend

After the recent embarrassing decisions in the Ryder vs Jacobs and Taylor vs Catterall fights, I thought I'd point this potential one out beforehand.

Why do I think it might happen again?

Because it has happened to Miguel Vazquez the last two times in a row he fought in the UK.

October 17, 2020 vs Lewis Ritson: this one was so bad even Eddie Hearn called it a disgrace.
June 28, 2019 vs Ohara Davies: Davis himself admitted Vazquez won and raised his hand after the decision

On March 12, Vazquez is fighting another UK prospect in the UK: the 13-0 Gary Cully.

I have never seen Gary Cully and by no means am I saying he can't legitimately beat the aged warrior in Vazquez. I just hope the fight goes to the man who earns it in the ring, and we've seen a lot of robberies in the UK.

I dont get why matchmakers use Miguel Vazquez? Chances are very high that its an awful fight to watch and that your fighter will look bad in the process.

They see he has 10 losses on his record and they see he's a former world champion so they want that name on their young fighter's resume.

Problem is, 2 of those 10 losses were robberies and the rest came against guys like Canelo (twice), Josh Taylor, Mickey Bey, Tim Bradley, and Argenis Mendez.

I'm in the UK and had actually heard of Ritson and Davies. Who tf is Gary Cully. There's no way they can spin this one, surely....
