An unremmittingly bleak but also quite rational appraisal, although I've deliberately chosen to believe there is hope for humanity. One of the things comes with having kids perhaps... I used to think almost entirely like that - one of the reasons I spent so many years trying to obliterate my mind with drugs and alcohol - but something changed for me when my first son came along, although it took some time. It was like - well even if that is the future I refuse to accept it without a fight.

Did mark a sea change in what I actually did though, I moved away from the political activism of my youth and more towards community activism, the kinda stuff where you can actually make a postive difference to people's lives even if only a small scale and see the results of your effort. IDK maybe naive but I reckon from small seeds mighty acorns grow. Listen i hear ya, truth is input a lot of work into animal activism which is my main passioninlife. I too also have2 little babies that have given me a very different perspective in life but that's just as i now solely focus on providing the best future I can for them rather than worrying over the global issues i can't control. It's hard not to be rational about it. Inthe last 50 years we have accelerated the depletion of all natural minerals on our planet, we have rapidly depleted oceans most importantly sharks which will lead to a major catastrophe. The usual war,famine,nuclear biological all gets worse and with each pandemic/war the inequality within our people grows. You say enough people being good to each other, small seeds can lead to might acorn etc and I get it but it's just words and things that will make you more appreciate of life but won't help improve our planet and ill tell you the main reason why. More and more people are being ****** into this false technological reality whether it be an iPhone, aplaystation the younger generation ate lost and oblivious to what life is all about. There's a lot of truth in what you're saying we are all made up of electronic and magnetic energy and we are all in balance with the earth. I truly believe in all this, I still believe at the top of the tree we have leaders of top corporations, oligarchs, royalty people who care nothing about the planet and its people just their own power and monetary gain and its for this reason things will progressively get worse. Just enjoy your life and be as positive and loving to others knowing you've done your part for the better

I agree with some of what you said and didn’t agree with other points. However, you laid out compelling arguments that were well thought out and I admire your passion for life. That level of passion is rare and not seen on a mass scale.
