There's two parts to this and you should be able to compartmentalise

    1. Great that Usyk is defending his country and as a man he deserves all the respect in the world, as if that was ever in doubt.

    2. As a boxing fan, it has to be a question of how long are 3/4 of the belts going to be inactive if Usyk's duties drag on for months. Its already been 6 months since the AJ fight.

Personally I feel if Usyk is tied up and the belts go undefended for 365 days they have to look at elevating him to emeritus champ and put the belts on the line for Fury vs whoever is the concensus number 2 in the division, with Usyk getting first dibs as soon as he's ready.

The undisputed saga has drawn out for too long and at this stage it's an open question if Usyk will ever box again so the SPORT needs to think about its future.

Imagine if Usyk is tied up for 2 year, maybe even longer, and then when the war ends he decides he doesn't want to box anymore.

These boxers, even though a week ago I basically idolized Loma and Usyk, they are really naïve to think the west cares about Ukrainian sovereignty. CNN of all networks. SMH.

And this Russophobe is petty among Ukrainians. They are like the Scottish toward the English - they would cut off the nose to spite the face. Pride can be a very toxic thing in extreme amounts.
      Shut the hell up

The difference lies in our experiences. Yes we're all humans cut from the same cloth but there's a reason black men can run faster, that men are stronger than women. Our generational experiences will alter the psychology and dna of the modern day people. I don't feel threatened I just think its disgusting to start questioning usyk's idea of defending his homeland by quoting gibberish about ussr and crimea when it's clear you used 5 mins of Google to formulate your answer knowing nothing about the complexities of this issue. It's HIS HOMELAND not ours and what he is doing is courageous and noble there is no questioning that anyone who does is empty within

You don't need to be of a particular color size or shape to be courageous beyond what we think courage is, we only need the motivation to be strong enough emotionally to bring it out, with some its hidden until their back is against the wall and its do or die, with others they smile as they charge into it like a bull, but it is indeed in everyone.

Ursk loma the Klitschko brothers are all very brave men because they didn't have to go, they have a choice that could mean their end.

So why question his homeland and who it belongs to?? Yea of course all people can be courageous but once again peoples history and experiences will shape who they are. Someone fortunate enough to educated in the best schools with parents who give there children great teachings and values in life will have a better chance of having a top career than someone who didn't have a privileged upbringing. That's experience and dna. Same thing I'd your Ukrainian and you have lives through all the fallout from the user, the political corruption, the maidan riots you will duly have a more patriotic courageous stance than those than haven't had ti deal with this type of adversity. The klitschkos are not loved in ukraine especially vitali as he was pathetic in how he dealt with being opposition to the leader at the time of the maidan riots. Usyk and loma like any Ukrainian coming home with no military experience will not be on the front lines they are simply at home protecting there family and people. Ukraine won't send innocent civilians to be slaughtered for no reason. Russia is doing what the United States have being doing for decades and its shameful

I don't say your wrong it is anything but simple.

Ok lets play a game, Nato rule the world, everybody including Russia China everyone signed an alliance to each other. In this scenario tell me how you think the world would be.

Do the same only we are ruled by Russia and China and there is no Nato, those two govern the world,, tell me how the world would be in that situation.

Nato can never rule the world, it's a western alliance but let's be truthful the world has been ruled by the British dynasty followed by the American one which was a simple passing ofthe torch after ww2. As much as I loathe what the Americans have done since ww2 let's be real a Chinese r world would be far more barbaric. To be the world superpower you have to commit awful crimes. Im sure plenty of activists will disagree but it's the way ofthe world and more importantly its human nature. We are the bain of the planet and someday just like western civilisation the the dinosaurs before us we will meet our end through some biological or nuclear war.

An unremmittingly bleak but also quite rational appraisal, although I've deliberately chosen to believe there is hope for humanity. One of the things comes with having kids perhaps... I used to think almost entirely like that - one of the reasons I spent so many years trying to obliterate my mind with drugs and alcohol - but something changed for me when my first son came along, although it took some time. It was like - well even if that is the future I refuse to accept it without a fight.

Did mark a sea change in what I actually did though, I moved away from the political activism of my youth and more towards community activism, the kinda stuff where you can actually make a postive difference to people's lives even if only a small scale and see the results of your effort. IDK maybe naive but I reckon from small seeds mighty acorns grow. Enough people being good to each other and treating each other with respect, honesty and dignity instead of greed, resentment and su****ion and I reckon maybe we got a shot at changing the world for the better.

Anthony Joshua can just f-ck off and fight with no belts on the line for a while. Until this all gets resolved.
